Better Life With Music
Music & Kids
Besides being fun, research has provided conclusive evidence that learning an instrument is one of the most academically beneficial things a child can do. Studies from all around the world show that music improves a child’s reasoning skills, memory and problem solving abilities.
Researchers have proven that early music education helps children intellectually and socially. Continued education raises exam scores and improves skills.
Music & Adults
As we age, making music keeps us happier and healthier. In 1999 the “Music Making Wellness” project found that senior adults who participated in group music lessons reported significant decreased feelings of depression, anxiety and loneliness.
